Before commencing the application, please ensure you have read the guidelines including funding conditions. When addressing assessment criteria, a rubric is available to assist applicants.
Prior to commencing your application, we suggest you select the option to preview or download a copy of the form to familiarise yourself with the questions and requirements for the application.
Additionally, applicants have the capability to edit and share applications with project team members via the SmartyFile online portal. This optional tool allows team members, with permissions, to collaborate on an application. Further information on accessing SmartyFile is provided in the guidelines or contact the grants administrator grantsgoldcoast@health.qld.gov.au.
Once you commence your application, you may begin anywhere within the form, however, please ensure you 'save progress' as you go to avoid losing any of your work.
For questions about the guidelines, deadlines, questions in the form or using the SmartyGrants platform, please contact the grants administrator 5687 0663 during business hours or email grantsgoldcoast@health.qld.gov.au and quote your submission number.

You can reopen your draft application and start where you left off.
You can also download any application, whether draft or completed, as a PDF. Click on the 'Download PDF' button located at the bottom of the last page of the application form.

Once you have reviewed your application, you can submit it by clicking on 'Submit' at the top or bottom of the screen or on the navigation panel. Following submission, no further editing or uploading of support materials is possible.
You will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your submitted application attached. This will be sent to the email you used to register.
If you do not receive confirmation then you should presume that your application has NOT been submitted.
Hint: also check the email hasn’t landed in your spam or junk email folder.
You will need to upload/submit attachments to support your application. This is very simple, but requires you to have the documents saved on your computer, or on a storage device.
You need to allow enough time for each file to upload before trying to attach another file. Files can be up to 25MB each; however, we do recommend trying to keep files to a maximum of 5MB – the larger the file, the longer the upload time.
We wish you every success with your application and please remember to contact the grants administrator if you have any questions Tel: 5687 0663 Email: grantsgoldcoast@health.qld.gov.au
Thank you
