Welcome to the Research Showcase 2022 - Abstract Submission Portal

GCH researchers and university partners are invited to submit an abstract of original work that is relevant to the Gold Coast Health service, patients, families and/or the broader Gold Coast community.  Studies do not need to have been conducted at Gold Coast Health but may be based on data from Gold Coast Health or conducted in partnership with universities or other research institutions.

Submissions are encouraged from novice through to experienced researchers, which might include bachelor/honours students, PhD students, and health professionals engaged in research in addition to their clinical practice.

Abstracts are invited for consideration as part of the Research Showcase 2022 in any of 3 categories:-

  • Oral presentation (12 minutes) plus 3 minutes questions
  • Lightning Talk (3 minutes)
  • Poster

Individuals may submit more than one abstract.  Submissions are due by midnight (end of day) 2 August 2022 - Submissions will not be accepted after the closing deadline.

Completing an Application in a Group/Team

A number of people can work on an application using the same log in details as long as only one person is working at a time. Ensure you save as you go.
